Jimmie Leigh Hatton, 94, of White Oak, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2016 at Heartis Assisted Living Facility in Longview, TX. She was born on May 4, 1922 in Woodville, TX to James Sims and Vina Viola Durham Sims.

Proverbs 31:10-31 is a perfect description of the wife, mother, grandmother and person that Jimmie was. She joined White Oak Baptist Church with her family in 1963. She was always a servant to her family, her church, and her community. She loved to cook and entertain guests and family...

Jimmie Leigh Hatton, 94, of White Oak, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2016 at Heartis Assisted Living Facility in Longview, TX. She was born on May 4, 1922 in Woodville, TX to James Sims and Vina Viola Durham Sims.

Proverbs 31:10-31 is a perfect description of the wife, mother, grandmother and person that Jimmie was. She joined White Oak Baptist Church with her family in 1963. She was always a servant to her family, her church, and her community. She loved to cook and entertain guests and family in her home. Her life was a true picture of what a Godly woman should be. She was beautiful inside and out.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William and a granddaughter, Tish Hatton. She is survived by three sons and one daughter: William R. and Belinda Hatton of Huntsville, TX, Lee and Sandy Hatton of White Oak, TX, Larry and Lisa Hatton of Gimer, TX, Sue and Rudy Wallesch of White Oak, TX; nine grandchildren: Julie Hagood of Austin, TX, Mike and Keari Hatton of Grapevine, TX, Jay and Mary Hatton of Stafford, VA, Brandi and Steve Patterson of East Texas, Christa and Lucas Wood of Taylorsville, UT, Erica Barnes of Weatherford, TX, Danielle and James Novak of Hideaway Lake, TX, Stacie and Scott Campbell of White Oak, TX, Amy and Tony Meunier of Kingsville, MO, as well as eighteen great grandchildren.

A time of visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at White Oak Baptist Church, 117 S. White Oak Road, White Oak, TX, with Rev. Michael Heim officiating.
